CRUISER / ENDURO CARS

This class is meant to be a lot of fun and excitement for competitors, race fans and everyone involved.

This class has the potential to become the most popular class at TCR. Our intent is to have a lot of different type races with the cruiser/enduro cars. Examples include: Chain races, Reverse Racing, Boat Racing, Figure 8 Racing, etc.

This class recommends 2 people in the car.

All cars are subject to inspection by track officials at any time.

All teams must register and sign in prior to event in order to receive points. Points will be awarded to the driver only.

CARS ONLY:
A. NO CONVERIBLES OR SUN ROOFS
B. No Chevrolets or Chevrolet engines. All engines must pull 15lbs of intake vacuum. This will be randomly checked.
C. Minimum wheelbase of 114" inches.
D. No modification to body, suspension or engine.
E. All cars must have inner fenders and NO bars under hood.
F. Must remove all glass also head and taillights.
G. All doors must be welded shut.
H. Must have working horn.
I. All cars must have a number on both sides and top.

K.I.S.S.
A. Keep it simple stupid.
B. (IF IT DONESN'T SAY YES THEN ITS NO)

EXHAUST:
A. No headers of any type allowed.
B. Must use a standard type muffler. NO racing mufflers allowed.

HI-PERFORMANCE PARTS:
A. No hi-performance parts will be allowed. No headers, holley carbs, aluminum intakes or any other kind of hi-performance part or parts will be allowed.

SAFETY:
A. Left and right side drivers must have a 5-point harness type seat belt.
B. Both drivers must wear helmets.
C. All cars MUST have an approved fire extinguisher securely mounted within easy reach of driver and rider.
D. Both drivers must wear a complete fire suit.
E. A single $10 roll bar or a 4-point roll cage is mandatory.
F. The $10 roll bar is a 4" or 5" heavy steel pipe cut to length to fit from the floor to roof inside the center of car. At each end, a one-foot square plate of ¼" heavy plate steel must be welded to top and bottom of pipe. Bolt the $10 roll bar through roof and floor of car to make entire body of car part of roll assembly. Use (4) ½" or larger bolts one each end.
G. Door bars permitted, must be inside car.
H. Four point cage permitted, if 4 point cage is used it cannot go through either firewall (front or rear).

WHEELS AND TIRES:
A. Standard type steel wheels only, max. Size 15X7. We recommend larger wheel studs and nut.
B. No wire spoke wheels.
C. Standard Street tires must be used, No mud grips, snow grips or All-terrain tires allowed.
D. All four tires must be the same size.
E. Example: right side tires P235/70/15 left side must be P235/70/15.
F. No grooving tires.

REAR END:
A. No locked rear ends or spools allowed.
B. Rear-end must be within or under a 300 range ratio.

$1000.00 CLAIM ON COMPLETE CAR
A. The first place finisher (THE WINNING CAR) only. Only a driver that competed in the race can claim.
B. All claims are for the complete car. (Less seat belts and hardware for seat belts)
C. All claims must be filed along with claim fee (cash only) to an official within 5 min. of the completion of the race.
D. If you refuse to sell you will forfeit all prize money and points for that race.

1st place finisher of the Cruiser race must start in the rear the following race. (Dead Last) This will not apply to championships therefore the 1st place finishers of race prior to championship will be handicapped the week after the championship.

NOTE: The Cruiser Cars will draw every week to determine the direction they will run on the track each week. (normal or reverse direction)
NOTE: Track reserves the right to delete, change, or amend rules in the interest of competition.
