Winter Series Race #1

Race number one of Tri-County Race Track’s Go Kart Winter Series saw a good field hit the 3/10s clay oval on a sunny cool day Saturday. Karts were waiting in line when the gate opened at 10 a.m.. Hot laps started shortly after noon and eight classes qualified and ran their features on the super fast oval. Winners were:

 

Raptor 330: Joshua Gunter

 

Box Stock Heavy: Sherman Ray

 

Purple Plate: Avery Breedlove

 

Jr. Box Stock: Drake Groves

 

Limited: Jamie Jacobs

 

Box Stock Lite: Anthony Reed

 

Animal Super Heavy: Marlin Gunter

 

Raptor 370: Randy Bagley

 

Race number two of the Winter Series will be run on December 12. The Box Stock Heavy, Raptor 370 and Limited will be running for $200, $100 and $60 with a 12 kart field or 100 % pay out if less than 12 karts, there will be a $30 entry fee. All other classes will be regular entry fee with 100% pay out.

 

Gate opens at 10 a.m. Hot laps after drivers meeting at noon. Concession stand and parts truck will be open.
