Hiawassee driver Kevin Bradshaw raced to one of his biggest wins in his long racing career as he bested track record holder Galen Robinson who was making his first visit to the “County” this year. Rounding out the field were Preston Crisp, Doug Sneed, Bobby Panter and Randy Dillard.
Murphy youngster Kurt English as did Bradshaw ran the best race in his young career as he bested Kevin Sutton, Jason Deal, Trevor Parker and Tony Ledford in the GM Performance Late Model feature.
The Cornwell Tools Modified Street feature saw a new winner when Murphy’s Dwayne Cole edged out Heather Taylor, Brad Thomas, Chris Stewart and Floyd Self.
A good field was on hand for the Stock Street main event as Murphy’s Jeremy Woody made it two in a row when he took the checkers in front of Charles Toomey, Josh Roberts, Johnny Guliza and Harold Garrett. Mark Jones, Gary Wilkins and Josh Cordon took the top three spots in the Mini Stock feature.
Racing returns to Tri-County this Saturday night with the running of the Southeastern Late Model Sportsman Series making their third visit this season.
