Final Points Night at Tri-County Race Track Pushed
Back to Saturday, September 24 Due to Rain
(BRASSTOWN, NORTH CAROLINA) The dramatic final point night
at the Tri-County Race Track was supposed to play out at the
Brasstown, North Carolina bullring tonight, but Mother Nature
has pushed the event back a day to Saturday, September 24. The
track has taken a lot of rain in recent days and with a 70%
chance of rain again today and tonight, track promoter Ray Cook
has opted to postpone the show until tomorrow evening. Everything
will remain the same with the program tomorrow night, but it
will start an hour earlier.
Gates will open tomorrow for the final points race of the 2011
season at 4:00 p.m., while the drivers meeting is scheduled
for 6:30 p.m. and racing at 7:00 p.m. Adult grandstand admission
is $10.00 and admission into the pit area is $22.00. Kids ages
6-12 will be admitted into the grandstands for $5.00 and the
pits for $10.00. Children ages 5 and under are FREE with a paying
adult.
In addition, be sure to stop by the concession stand tomorrow
night for $1.00 Hot Dog Night! Always a crowd favorite at Tri-County,
you can throw back as many hot dogs as you wish for only $1.00
each all night long. Kids ages 12 and under will also receive
a voucher for a free drink and hot dog when they enter the facility.
Also, the Most Popular Driver votes have been tallied and there
is a tie in the Modified Hobby division. Therefore, fans at
Tri-County tomorrow night will be able to vote once again for
your favorite Modified Hobby driver. The voting for all of the
other classes is closed and the winners will be announced at
the Tarheel 50 on October 6.
Be sure to come out to the Tri-County Race Track on Saturday
night, September 24 for the final points race of the season.
The points are very close in several divisions and the action
on the track tomorrow night will determine the 2011 Track Champions!!!
